Infrastructure Grant Success - Motion Capture System for Real Time Human and Robotic Interaction

iCinema, led by Prof Del Favero, in partnership with UNSW’s School of Computer Science (Faculty of Engineering), Centre for Modernism Studies, School of the Arts and Media (Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences) and NIDA, has been awarded a UNSW MREII grant for a Motion Capture System for Real Time Human and Robotic Interaction. The new system will be installed in the AVIE system in Scientia and the NIEA iCinema Lab at COFA. The grant investigates the interaction between human, robotic and virtual agents through the use of motion capture technology.
